Events without times

You can create events without times - handy for a mini to-do list within the schedule. When the schedule is active, it moves on to the next timed event once you've checked off all the items (or once the next event's time starts).

Deleting vs hiding

When you swipe an event left, you may see a icon or a icon. Events that come from calendar events can only be hidden, not deleted.

Silencing notifications for individual events

When notifications and live activities are enabled (see active schedules), you can silence notifications for a specific event by swiping it left and tapping the icon.

Automatic icon picking

Hour by Hour uses Apple's on-device AI to suggest an icon for your event based on the title you type. It usually gets it right... occasionally it doesn't!

If you pick an icon yourself, that choice is locked in and won't be overwritten by the automatic suggestion.
